Cafe San Marco in Schoenau am Koenigssee

Cash is made here. € 2 per ball and not even gold leaf in it ... it didn't taste good either. The other ice cream stalls cost € 1.20-1.30 per scoop. Would be something for Kabel Eins rip off on vacation ...

I usually write reviews very rarely, but today I take the time to share some of my experiences. Unfortunately there is no possibility to award less than one star, because here I would have used this possibility. Very bad ice cream (only sugar and water, sold as chocolate). The owner is very unfriendly and argued with a gentleman before our eyes because he didn't like the ice cream. The cleanliness is below zero. We immediately threw our ordered ice cream in the trash can after we saw that the owner had licked her fingers after the service.

After yesterday's boat tour on the Königssee, we had been to the San Marco ice cream parlor because the situation simply appealed to us. We had ordered Amaretto cups, cappuccino and cups with 2 scoops of ice cream. The ice cream was not particularly good. Service rude. They are also not Italians. We paid the overpriced price and went to the hotel. After a few hours, the mother and 5-year-old son had food poisoning (abdominal pain and diarrhea) because they had eaten ice cream. The doctor is consulted and the health department is involved. We cannot recommend it! Hands off!

We were completely unsatisfied! We ordered a pizza (children were hungry after the trip)! When it was served I was appalled! Frozen pizza and that for € 8.90! I made the operator aware of it when paying and also said that it was a cheek is to take the price for such a ready-made pizza! Never again!!!!!

2 euros for one scoop. I took 2 scoops : vanilla and tiramissu. No difference.

Great cafe to relax after a walk in the mountains. Very tasty waffles and good mulled wine! Locals come to sit in this place, so definitely not to be scared of a low rating!

Do not even deserve a star! Ordered ice cream with cream, cream was sour and moldy! Becher went back - no apology, no discount, no word more than it would be normal. Only one "so a sundae without cream ?!". Absolute impudence.

Extremely unkind service

The ice cream and coffee were good, but the boss of this cafe was very rude to a customer. Because of this impudence, I will not enter this cafe anymore. Our service was very nice.

0.3 drink for 4.20 € Krass overpriced. I would not recommend it!

9.90 € for a tiramisu mug ?? For the price I would have expected very good ice cream. But that was not the hit. And the service was totally unfriendly. Total tourist rip-off. Do not go !!

Ice was ok, but 2 euros per ball and then a "cardboard waffle" does not work. Is rather motto "fast mark" as lived tradition. And why ice cream cups must be made of plastic instead of paper, that does not fit in with the otherwise rather environmentally conscious region. A little tip: To the right of the tourist shops, a second way leads to Königssee. Without Neppbuden and scenic also beautiful.

5.60 for an iced coffee with 1 scoop of ice cream ??? Service was but fast

Ridiculously overpriced.

The place is great but if I should pay for a small Coke and a half beer 9,70 € that is for me pure usury and tourists rip off. For that I get almost a whole box of beer. Thank god we did not eat there. We could of course have asked for the card before but only to drink what you do not that was me again a lesson and does not happen to me again, but quite apart from the prices in this restaurant, there is elsewhere a lot of friendly not so arrogant arrogant and especially local staff who do not sit at the tables smoking and stuffing waffles ... and the beginning of March where is not even season. Shame on you!

Incredible! 0 stars! Ordered a pizza, it cost 8.90 € and it was a frozen pizza by Dr. med. Oetker (in the supermarket the maximum 2 euros cost !!!) Never again, the staff was arrogant and rude.

We were rarely treated so superficially. After we only had something to drink and no waffle ordered, we were quickly put the bill. The coffee for 6.20 euros was terrible. Go somewhere else.

tourist trap, avoid it if you can.

The location right on the Königssee is great. Cappuccino is ok but € 9.20 for 2 small ones is too expensive

The lady who served in the café this morning received us so rudely that we left immediately. So you do not treat customers / tourists.

The location of the cafe couldn't be better! The staff may not be very qualified but still very decent and courteous! The prices are very high, but as long as there is demand and guests accept the prices, it is okay to set the prices at this level! The offer could be improved a little (e.g. ice cards torn and sticky)

The bill says it all. Nobody knows whether the glass of water comes from the bottle or the tap or the lake!

Expensive and unfriendly staff

The café is in a very nice location on the Königssee, the selection of ice cream and drinks is large. But there is nothing more positive. The staff could be friendlier. The prices are a cheek. We drank an iced coffee, by the way the smallest I've ever had, but it also cost a whopping 7.40 €. Two pieces then just cost € 14.80. Unbelievable. A big bend should be made around the café.

To squeeze 5 with backpacks and dog to a table because you have to keep other tables free and although several are free. We were also asked to leave if that did not suit us. Well. So is a load that does not need to be polite and is only on mass. Never again!
